I put a GMPP LT4 Hot Cam in a 97 SS and, boy, did it wake up that LT1. Has anyone heard of any company developing a better cam for the L. Inquiring mind wants to know :0

Hey Mrbbqman, sorry don't know any specs on the cam, saw their ad in the back of Super Ford July 2000 issue. Nothing listed but price $168.92 don't know if that is each (probably) and not a pair, one for each head. Hope this helps

Fast Gator

Thanks for the info. I gotta' think the the cam for the L can't be THE best setup. Think about how much filter kits and exhaust mods do for these trucks. I don't dissagree, at all, with the boost argument. But, you gotta' think that a better cam profile is bound to popup. Hoping.

Cool

You'll have a TOUGH time putting that cam in a '99-'00 Lightning. ;-) It's for the '93-'95 trucks. Wakes them up quite a bit.

Question

Badbolt,
Don't want to talk about LT1 stuff on the Lightning board, so can you please send me your email. I have an LT1 Corvette and am wanting to install the LT4 hot cam kit. I've got some questions.
My email is: wijatyk@ftimeters.com
