WC uses 1/4 steel vs 3/16 for most others. They are probably 3X stronger than the original ones but that extra strength is probably not necessary. IMO hangers are hangers. All they do is hold the spring in place.

I would be surprised if there were any deflection of the springs with sliders and urethane bushings.

And less things to squeak, groan, and pop.

DANG TIMMAY....hand my *** to me right after expedia tells me three hours ago they are downgrading my cruise cabin due to overbooking.......salt in a wound...

ok as far as smoothing out the rear leaf action.....i would hope to get Stan to chime in on that....but ill try to do my best......when going over very small road imperfections the bump does not fight the full power of the leaf, instead the leaf can give the first inch or so travel with less resistance and also the rebound is a bit less harsh......e.g. better constant contact with the road.

as far as lessening the load on the panhard you only confirmed what i said.....if the slider takes out any likley deflection then the panhard doesnt have to do that job and can continue whatever its uninteded job is as you said in another comment you made.....

less parts part...from what you said i guess you were just adding to what i said, if so then thank you, if not then I will chock it up to you being a jerk.....but like a few other Tim's i know, you are a jerk but very smart so that why i always consider my freinds named Tim to be indespsensable

I'll always let you have my bud light Tim......Cause you my homie and Cause I'll be sipping my 7 and 7 anyway

peace out money grip

i may also go with the WC hangers as Ruslow's only drop about .5 inches and i plan on using 03-04 leafs so i will need the extra drop....

GUYS BIG ? what is the spring rate of the 03-04 leafs?

Easy to fix. Just either fab a plate that bolts in under the drop hangar, mod the end plates on the X-F, or weld up an attachment point.

I thought of those options Tim, But I feel it will compromise the integrity of the x-factor "factor" . I should get by fine with Stan's Sliders and maybe Removing one leaf from the 2004 spec leafs....i will be adding the jcwhitney/hellwig helpers so i will have the soft rate of the 2004 minus a leaf springs and the the axlewrap reduction of the hellwig doofer, and can crank it up when needed
