Hey Guys,
I just wanted to add that I have posted before about this after I put mine on. I gaurantee you will love this part. It will cause as much attention as the truck itself. Please, everyone get one. I also wonder about how one would be put on the rear. If anyone does this, please post pictures. Everyone else, get this!!!!!!

Attention asdeman....The seven inch replaces the stock "Blue Oval" in the grill. Look at the original post for further details or check out http://www.nthcoast.com/ where the items are coming from. They have some photos, but they are not very good in quality when the Oval is iluminated. see ya

Question

Big ED,
What size is for the tail gate and how did you make it work. If they can get a direct replacement for the tailgate I will want that size to. So that would be a 7 inch and what ever size for the tailgate for my order. Thanks for making this happen.

Cool

steveo,
The 5 3/4" lighted logo is the direct replacement for the OEM one on the tailgate. I know because I have a lighted logo on my tailgate. The wiring is very simple, one end is grounded and the other is tapped into the marker lights. The wires come marked so there is no mix-up when wiring. The inverter MUST STAY DRY. I zipped tied it behind the tail light lense. Between the tailgate and the tailgate lense you have to leave about 3 or 4" of wire so when the tailgate is lowered the wire won't pull apart from the quick disconnect. There is a quick disconnect provided so if the tailgate has to be removed you can just disconnect the wires rather than cutting them. I will be taking some digital pics of the installation maybe tomorrow and will provide a link for all to see how the install is done, it's really simple, and I know pictures are worth a ................ you know the rest :-)

Regards,

F&B's

Cool

I agree with big ED, what is 39.95? But oh well, it's nothin to me. I guess I just figure if you can afford a $32,000 truck, than a little logo is nothin. But hey, the logo is cool, and I will be gettin one really soon. After seein how big Ed's looks on his truck, it's a must have.
