I honestly need help deciding!

To give you a little background. I had a 2002 True Blue Lightning that was traded in. I will not bore you with the details, but I have the financial means to purchase either a Lightning or Mustang GT (Newer body).

I recently moved from Omaha, NE to Kansas City, so I don't have an idea of what dealerships I can trust to purchase a Lightning, so if anyone knows of a quality Lightning for sale or dealership I could work with in the KC area, it would be appreciated.

I loved my truck and had a hard time parting, but I am still a mechanical misfit, so what should I look for to ascertain the health of the truck?

I am also going to look at the Mustang, just because of the back seat issue. Not a big one, but my son can fit back there if he needed.

In case anyone has an interest, I was in Breckenridge, Tx yesterday and saw a 95 Lightning for sale. It looked sharp and clean, had a sign on it for $6900.

I've thought about the HD, but still have a gut feeling for the Lightning. I never lost the smile from the first moment I drove until it was gone. We have the minivan if the family needs to go anywhere.

I see one every other day and just can't help thinking it would be nice to have one again.

Don't tell Rockpick, but I cannot make myself spend anywhere near as much time washing/waxing/detailing the Sportrac as I did on the Lightning.
