You are conveniently omitting the rest of your smart-*ss comments:

"Cause I've never heard of an SVTL. That some type of super vehicle or something?

It's an L, for Lightning, only Lightnings I know of our SVT's... "

And for the record, no one cares whether you like the acronym.

Your truck probably rides like crap now…

All that cutting the coils does is increase the spring rate in proportion to the total length removed. Which is the same thing as buying a shorter, higher rate spring.

I would describe an EVO as a quick little car that's kinda neat, but still just a cheap-*ss POS econobox. It's got speed, but lacks substance.

But I'm not hating you because of your car, but rather because of your complete lack of judgment.

I'm done feeding the troll.

I don't care what you call it, or what color the supercharger is, that's one nice looking L!

Wow this guy is a caricature! Thanks guys for the comments. As to how it rides, well it's real nice. You really can not tell any differance in the ride. It has a bit less body roll to it now. I've hit the bump stops twice going over the tracks on hwy 70. So, I'll be replacing those sometime soon. But cutting one coil is not going to stiifen up your ride like a ricer. As long as you cold cut it. If you get it hot, your going to mess up the heat temper and mess up the spring rate.

Also, I just installed a Metco Bracket and 100mm ideler, wahoo, got 1lb back already. Even in this heat I'm seeing 13.5 again, that's up from the 12.5 I've bean seeing lately. I wonder what I'll see in 60* weather? With a brand new belt I saw 14lbs on a 63* dry night at the track.

Anyways, thanks again guys. Later.

My engine is still stock, so if he's modded, he might be able to take my truck.

But evo if he can, his parents will still just own a POS econobox that can beat a stock Lightning.

Lipstick on a pig. I can put a leather interior in a Yugo, and it's just a POS with a nice interior.

Don't get me wrong, any car that handles and well and is as quick as an Evo has some definite baseline coolness. And big props to Mitsu for making it. But at the end of the day, I just can't take seriously a car that underneath it all is still just one of about a hundred million bland, soulless little Asian subcompacts.
