If I post several contacts to various magazines would the rest of you contact them and recommend that they check out HIGH RISK
and do an article on his Lightning ?

WE WANT an ARTICLE ON A REAL FAST BOLT !
Forget the Camaros !!!!

We could all get behind this and see if we could make it happen. But if this idea gets a luke warm responce, I'll know its not a popular idea. Tx to all.

High Risk can write the article himself and this along with pictures send to Muscle Mustang & Fast Fords. Buy a MM&FF magazine and get info as to who/where to send. All that can be said is no.

A local performance place here wrote several articles himself and they were published in MM&FF about installing Griggs Tork(spelling) Arm, his 155MPH Road Race Mustang and a screaming turbocharged Gen-1 White Lightning that I could beat and did many times with my Gen-1 Black Lightning. We were going to do a Salt & Pepper article but some problems occured and I got my Gen-1 'L back. Nuff said on that.

Anyway it can be done, but don't expect it to be published right away.

It sounds cool to me. I do have the digital camera master (BABolt) in my corner. I'll write up some specific and see what comes of it.
These trucks do need more credit then they are getting.

From what I have seen here, there are quite a few L's here that could easily make truckin', or the like When my truck is complete (like that ever happens) I plan on sending it to all of the publications I can, maybe we should all get our photos together and see if we can't at least end up in readers rides.

Cool Magazine coverage.
I talked with Bob about this today. I need to talk to some friends who are connected to the magazine types and get their interest. I know how long you can sometimes wait to get your vehicle in a mag. My Thunderbird is in the July issue of Hot Rod and you would not believe how long it took. Bob's truck is a different story, it is very topical and runs exceptionally well off the bottle, 12.60 without the nitrous. This is with the Superchip, we have the other chips to test in it too. Hopefully the tuner with the best chip can get behind this truck too. Lets find out.

I was reading a question in a truck magazine ( I think it was SPORT Truck) sent in by this guy with a new BOLT. He was asking similar questions that I had (He must not of heard of F150online at that time) and I was
getting really excited to read about things close to my own heart ! At the end of the
question and reply was the guys name.

It was mine ! I laughted so hard. I had sent in E-mail months before and completely forgot about it.

 

Gunner you know as well as I do that Sport Truck only does things about Dodge just look at there 2000 S P O R T Truck of the year a 4door Dakota I would really like to know what they think is a Sport. As we all know that the Lightning is the only true sport truck. Two door, two seater(well most of the time) and faster than 95% of veh. on the road. Try Truckin or Truck Trends
