On the daul and triple pods, lotek and autometer they use a few screws supplied with the pod, on the single pod 4 small plastic pin also supplies with the pod on the column pod I've heard of double sided tape, velcro, nothing at all, plastic pins (pep boys, autozone) or a combo of a few of the above, done right they all look nice.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for. I've seen some held on with sheet metal screws, and don't like the way they look. Thanks again!

My 3 pod Autometer came with six 'push pins' and mounted over the factory A-pillar cover. The factory cover has tabs that snap into the A-pillar and it's held pretty tightly. I've never seen an Autometer supplied with the sheet metal screws that the Lotek comes with and I've done three of them.

Struck in AZ, by chance do you think they just sell the push pins or a site I can look for them?? My 3 pillar pod came with nothing, and had to be painted to match. (Came out pretty good too, matches perfect)
Keep sending pictures folks, all though I'm looking for the mounting hardware pictures. I want to see what you used to mount them with and possibly the place I can fine the parts needed.
Thanks again!!!

I love this site, so many helpful members with our truck questions!!

It just covers the existing Apillar. Use double sided tape! or glue them together!

MotorcycleMan,

I actually just called Autometer when I was doing mine and they sent me an extra set...no questions asked. Give that a try before you try to hunt them down somewhere else.

Here is a link to my pod install. You will also find the Ford part number for the *EXACT* paint to match your interior. Don't buy the el cheapo stuff from Ghettozone!!!

Well I went out and looked in my autometer box, and I found the push pins taped to the bottom of the box. (Of course it would have to be at the other end that I opend) :o Now the instucations says to install it right over my old one, is that right?? Now I feel a little silly now.

Thanks Struck in AZ for all your help. With it fitting right on top of the stock one, it will make it very easy to secure the thing.
