I know there have been many topics on headers
but I was curious if there were any performance gains from the headers alone or does it make the truck sound better only? If you have any before and after times that would be great and what make are most people going with. Thanks

 

At least a year ago I spoke to a guy at the SVT hotline # that seeemed to have some insight to the development of the truck. He said that they tested headers and only got more noise and higher underhood temps. No gain to speak of. From what I have read so far there don't seem to be any real gains for the money. Has anyone done a temp check without and with headers? I think people have done some without for the filter issues.
