About 5 years ago there was a commercial out where that shows this young guy (about my age at that time...mid-20s) looking at cars. It was a commercial for insurance. Different cars pop on the screen one at a time, as he's trying to decide what to buy...an econobox, "Way too small"...then some big luxo-cruiser, "Way too big"...then a Ferrari, to which he says to himself "Way too fast."

I liked it, so WA 2 FST was born...that's the plates on my '90 LX. I chose this b/c its not derrogatory in anyway towards another car, but unless you've got a 9-sec motorcycle, don't even think about it.

Cool

I'm a Firefighter-Paramedic, and was given the name when I beat another ambulance to the scene of a shooting. You can take the sick ones, leave the trauma for me.

This is gonna be off-topic, but here goes,

What do those ambulances do in the quarter miles? I always thought they were the fasteset things on the road when I was a kid. Hearing the sirens, and watching them fly through traffic.

Thumbs up

"Duck" is a nickname I've had since 6th grade. (An old housekeeper of ours w/o any teeth used to try to say "Gus", but when it came out it sounded like "Duuuuk" and it stuck). The "01" is because I'm a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2001! WHOOOOOP!

I got my first speeding ticket a week after I got my license. I have gotten a zillion since then. I've lost my license twice because of too many points. My insurance company gave me the name a long time ago. When we started oval track racing we'd write HIGH RISK RACING TEAM on the cars.

My nickname is Bear, because I was close friends with Bear Bryant and in the world of usernames, Bear was usually too short so I added the "it". Plus I am a photographer and I told a young lady one time if she would bear it, I would shoot it.

License plate was going to be Pacecar until I bought my truck. I was also 18 at the time of first using my screename. I just use it now because its tatooed on my brain.

Not much imagination here, either. I got this hung on me by some friends more years ago than I am willing to admit to. It just states an obvious fact, that I am....

Unfortunatly, my department uses an ambulance based on a Chevy chassis, obviously due to the cost and not performance. It can't get out of it's own way, and don't think about stopping it in the rain. Even the pumpers and ladder trucks have better acleration than the ambulances.
I drive a chevy because it pays the bills..

Keep it safe,

Cool

My last name is Jacobs, hence 'Jake'. I have two older brothers, hence 'Baby'. My brother's friends actually coined 'Baby Jake' when I was about 5 or 6 and it has just stuck.
