Whipple Owners/Dealers

OK, i have seen and heard of Whipples new midplate.. supposedly Whipples original midplate would warp and im guessing causing damage to the blower internally.. does anyone know if this is true?? if so, is Whipple doing anything to correct the problem with the midplates already sold previous to this discovery of a flaw in Whipples design?? Maybe JJ, PSP, JDM, Lethal Performance, or anyone else dealing with Whipple can chime in...

We havent seen any issues with the older style midplate. We also suggest using the snout brace.

Snout brace

I phoned Whipple as I did not get a brace in my kit and the person who answered the phone took my info and said they would send one out to me. He did not advise there was a cost to this but I know I will likely have to pay something. I have not installed the Whipple yet so I can't say much about the brace or the overall install.

There is No difference between the earlier midplates and the current ones. the only difference is some of the older ones (like mine) were billet.

What they are doing is giving a front support to anyone who wants one. All you have to do is call them up and tell them you want one and they will mail you one.

Technically ther is no case flex. the problem is the newer casting were not fully deburred near the discharge port and plus the teflon coating scratches extremely easy. Whipple is now deburring all edges left after maching and going to a thicker higher grade teflon coating

I like that.

At 20 to 30 times a week that works out around 3 - 5 times a day.......
Blowing away the competition.

Think this will make a good addition to my JDM built motor
