I just received my Burango Diecat lightning in the mail today after two weeks and the toe-in on the front wheels are all pigeon toed. the quality otherwise is nice but the alignment is not acceptable. I have several Mustang and Indy Pace car die casts and am almost embarrased to add this to my collection.

Anyone else with one if these have the same problem?

Burango Quality, Hahahahahaha.

I've become a big fan of AutoArt: www.autoartmodels.com the website is underconstruction right now, I don't know why, as it has been up for some time now.
I have their: Super Stallion, Saleen S351 Coupe and Saleen S351 Convertable.
I've order the Rally Focuses, but they aren't due out for a month or two. I need get some more shelves, as I have almost 50 cars now.

I have two models and my red one is out of alignment. Also the driver's side mirror broke off. Anyone familiar with this Burago company?

I was grocery shopping at Albertson's the other night and guess what I saw? An entire Burago display with the Lightning right in the middle! That's right, for sale at your local Albertson's for $19.99, right next to the fresh produce! The display model had the same problems.

I have around 10-14 Burago Models, and the quality is all over the map, I have some great ones, and I have some bottom shelf models from them too.
I usaully find that burago has paint (defects) and detail (like crome wheels and Grills) issues as opposed to assembly (poor wheel locations) and interiors (no detail or colors), where maisto has more issues.

 

I have the red model and it has the same wheel problem.

Maybe the model has the "clunk" problem creating the mis-alignment LOL.

 

darn.. i drove all the way to albertsons, and they didn't have a Burago display.
guess i'll have to check back tomorrow.. and the day after.. and the day after that.. and on and on and on.
is there a cure for obsessiveness (sp?)
other than being broke?

I picked up my Burago lightning last week and was not please with the quality as well. I have many auto art cars and they are much nicer. But I still love the truck so I will have to keep it Hopefullu auto art with come out with a lightning so we can all be happy.

 

There is a stack of "red only" at my local albertsons. are other color's available?
