Fuel Cell guys in here.

I'm in the process of swapping an 02 L drivetrain into a 1950 F1. One area I have been thinking about is fuel delievery. There isn't enough room to drop in the L tank but the F1 already had a fuel cell. Now my question is fuel pressure. Is there an inline pump that would work as well as the the stock twins? The motor will be only slightly modded so I don't need anything more than what the stock pumps put out. What are you guys with Fuel cells using?

Aeromotive A1000 pump should handle anything you can throw at it.

Does the cell have to be higher than the pump? ie will it suck air if the tank is empty? Is your system returnless? What do you suggest for a fuel line from the tank to the rail? Filter? Do you also have/need the controller?

pump should be lower than tank preperably a sumped cell. i ran 8-an braided hose to and from. it is a return system. use an aeromotive filter atleast in front of the pump but another after will be cheap insurance incase something in the pump breaks down. and i just ran a swich power supply to operate the pump.

.....some people run both bottom lines into a "Y" fitting then into filter then the pump.
Filters should be used on both sides of the pump.

HI!... For us guys that want to run a fuel cell and have to still pass emissions (Canada). Are you just hooking up the vent from the fuel cell back up to the charcoal canister under the bed?
