Does anyone have info on the Downs superchip verses other chips out there they claim to be better designed for the ford's product line and also the filter k&n verse's theirs verses Airad Filter set-up Thanx for any help 00 whte Lightning Ct. P.S. also looking for a good shop in my area I'm told their may be one in Long Island NY who is real good with Dyno but, don't know who it is.

 

Check out the search catagories on the filters and chips. It's called sensory overload. Can't help you with a shop in NY, ( Never been there)!!!!!!!!!

hey smokin! how ya doing? johnnylightning here. i don't know about the downs superchip but i do know the program i'm running is awsome to say the least all i have is a k/n filter and the superchip and i ran a best of 13.0 on the stock f1's. i hope to see 12's this fridaynight. if you call superchips and ask for the johnny lightning program i'm sure they'll fix you up! take care and keep it between the lines!!!!!

What octane of gas did you use to achieve these numbers? It seems like I had read you HAD to go with like 104 to make it run good. Is this correct?

The Down's Ford Superchip isn't any different from any other Superchip, they get their software and hardware directly from Superchips Inc., the parent company, too.
