new owner of L

Just wanted to say HEY. Bought a 2000 red L 2 weeks ago over in Atlanta(I live in North Alabama). Its got a Cervini ram air hood, air raid box with a kn filter in it. As far as I can tell everything else is stock. Just found out it got the intercooler fix when they came out . The trans was rebuilt 10 months ago, I found the recept in glove box. Trucks runs great. This is a great site and I use the search button alot. Gonna do all the basic replacing fluids/tune up things before i do any mods. Does anyone know if there is a local tuner around in north Ala.
Thanks

Live in Decatur, maybe we can hook up sometime. I'm pretty green to the L, but i'm learning. Got up under her this weekend to change o2 sensors. Found muffler is removed and some kind of resoniator/turbo muffler/glasspack/catback in its place on both sides of exhaust. So true duals out. Rest of exhaust is stock. Boy, hot weather really affect the L. Horespower down some. It was around 70 degrees when I got it and it would really rip.

Thanks

LOL!!! I know the feeling!! Whether sucks here! Anyways, so you're from Decatur huh? I was out there last weekend...went to Point Mallard for the Hot Air Balloons that were cancelled. The Fiance was excited about getting to see them. The L's are fun to drive, but don't try to race on a hot humide day...you're more then likely to have your feelings hurt. I've run my little brothers WS6 from a dig and a Hwy roll. From a dig on a cold night (60deg temp) I had him by 6 cars atleast. From a Hwy roll in the middle of the day (80-90 deg temps) he's walking away from me. Anyways...we need to get together at Fruit Stand or Mooresville sometime. There is also a guy in Madison that has one bad-as* White Lightning..he's a member on this baord also. Board name is White-Lightning. Oh and one more thing before I forget to tell you... www.hsvracing.com check it out. I'm on that board also under the same screen name and so is the guy from Madison.

Yep, live at Point Mallard. Me an the ole lady went to memphis for the weekend on Beale Street. It was hot as hell there. Took the L. Gotta love the extra power when you need to move on the interstate. Kept looking for another L, only saw one and he honked and I honked back. Pretty kewl. Haven't ran anyone yet, but its still early.

That's weird! Memphis and no L's? I bought my L from Memphis and man if I didn't see atleast 15 the day I was there! Yeah...there sure were a lot of For Sale By Owners overe there in Point Mallard. Anywho...I hope you enjoy your L as much as I have mine!!!

Thanks,
