I am wondering what the best chip and filters to add on are.. Any info here would be wonderfull. this is my 1st L so I gotta learn

Congrats on the best color selection.

I don't think there is a major difference in the chips. All get rid of the 4 cyl drop at wot shifts, firmer shifts and raise redline/shift points.
- PSP (dual program)
- Superchip (dual program)
- Swanson (dont know if single or dual program)

Filters are about the same also, but one of them has a box that keeps hot engine air from getting in, dont know if it makes more power though.

Did you get the ‘Arrest Me’ red or the ‘I Wish I Got A (faster) Black One But All The Dealer Had Was This Gawdawful Red’ red?

 

He got the Red that dosen't look like it needs to be washed 5 minutes after it is dry. And considering that a stock truck runs real low 14s, And a chip & filter runs mid 13s, he might want to just drive it for awhile. ( a week anyway eh ?) I have 15k on mine and I think it runs stronger than when it was brand new.
