Post 2000 computer in a 99 L?

I got my truck back Friday. Everything is fine, a little rubber underneath the wheel wells, don't remember if I did that or what. Don't think so though. Well anyways on to my question. I looked at the computer today, and it says cux2 on it. My previous one said cux1. Is this bad? Also does the new computer need to relearn anything? The truck does not seem as quick as it did before. And the service engine light is on ugh

well my computer went nuts when a chip was installed. So they replaced it. I have the old computer but don't know what to do with it. It does not work so in the trash it goes.

Don't trash it, those have a pretty high core value. Plus you may be able to have someone reflash it. Then you could actualy test both the 99 & 00 PCM's.
