I was out driving my new L the other night when I was passed by a kit car Cobra like I was sitting still. He must have been doing a little over a hundred. A little farther down the road we both got caught at a red light. I was a little hesitant to run him because I was giving up about 2,600 pounds, but I thought what the hell. As soon as the light turned green we both nailed it and it was a Lightning. I had him by 4 car lengths at 65mph. Not bad since I was giving him 2,600 pounds. At the next light I was caught again and noticed that another car was beside me reving up his motor. I looked over and there was a new model GT. Well when the light turned green it was all lightning again. I had him by 2 car lenghts at 65 mph. Even after having my Lightning for over a month I am still surprised that my 4,600 hundered pound truck can whip up on much lighted cars. You just gotta love torque!!!!!!
