plug gap & nitrous question

running 15psi with built short block, heads, cams, etc..

stock upper ported eaton with metco 10lb lower

been having some trouble on my nitrous tune, on the dyno, truck runs great, but on the street, the nitrous is in and out, thinking maybe detonation, maybe bad solenoid

my a/f was going fat on the street and at the track. yesterday i replaced the solenoid, took it out today, didn't feel like in and out, but the a/f was going lean instead of fat, so i am thinking maybe the solenoid was bad, gonna try to hit the dyno again this week and check the tune there, but was also curious what kind of gap everyone is using

on the spray, boost jumps to 16.5, i am running br7's gapped around 32, was gonna pull the plugs just to double check how they look after all the nitrous issues, was gonna do another br7 or the ar94's, i know they are both 2 heat ranges colder

my normal tune is around 460/520 i believe and with the 75 shot like 545/677

what are you guys around that same power level running as far as plugs and what gap

Sounds like the nitrous solenoid was bad. Now its spraying the nitrous in there good and strong and there is not enough fuel to go with it. A trip to your tuner should take care of it!

I am about to go back to Motocraft 12c's @.035
I dialed my nitrous tune in with the jets not the computer, The only thing that changed from my origional tune is the timing at WOT. I use a wet kit if that helps.

running out of fuel bro.
are you running a dry or wet shot? if dry, you should look into upgraded fuel system.

wet obviously you'd just up the fuel Jet...

i am already running just a slightly bigger fuel shot than it calls for, not by much

gonna check the plugs today and make sure the power on the fuel solenoid is good,

i did redo the power line when i added the new nitrous solenoid
