Post exhaust help?

Can anyone help me out on aftermarket exhaust systems for the 00' L's, without too much fabrication? I spoke with a flomaster rep. I had to give him dimensions so he could match me up. He recomended the 50 series. I didn't find anyone I trusted enough to do the fab work. I'm a little hesitant doing any mods to this beautiful machine. Apreciate any replies.

Hfoot,

If you want a full bolt on kit, go with Bassani. Cat-back kit you can go with Borla, also if you are set on flowmasters then go to Mufflex. Muff. makes a bolt on Cat-back kit. www.mufflex-performance.com

Unless it is just for noise,I would not recomend any exhaust. So far, some have lost power or basically stayed the same. Before you go throwing your money away, try to take the easy way out as far as your wallet and exhaust. If there is one thing Ive learned from this board ,its that Lightnings are not gaining anything from exhaust.

Cool

Thanks to all for the replies. If I knew getting good info was this easy I would have bought a machine like this earlier.

Lightningquick, I was thinking the same thing myself. I am leaning tward leaving the stock exhaust in tact, but I'd love the extra noise.

thanks again, heavyfoot

Hey, probably by the end of this week I will have already taken off my muffler and put 'straight' pipes in its place. It makes it really loud, but not unbearable, thanks to the cats.
