Question

Doug,

Need a little more info. "12 bolt cover" Is that GM 12 bolt, or do the 9.75 have 12 bolt's on it? Are you looking for chrome, aluminum, girdle type?

Or are you looking for the Ford/GM factory part#?

Jigawatt

I am looking for a replacement differential cover for my L. I am having gears done next week and wanted to dress up the rear cover while they had it apart. I'll take anything that isnt painted black like stock. Would prefer chrome/silver for obvious reasons

OK, Now I know what you want

Now for the bad news, Good luck in finding a cover for the 9.75.

When I had mine apart, it looked like it would be the same as 10.25 cover. To me the 10.25 is about a half a bolt whole off. I did NOT take the 10.25 cover off to make a for sure check, just put the 9.75 over the 10.25 and eyed it.

You might want to ask:MAG-HYTEC. I think Hotdog was looking for one also. www.mag-hytec.com
818-786-8325 They are in California.

I was going to get a stock cover and have it chromed. Also thought about having the backing plates done too,(brake backing plates).

Cool

Hey Guys!
Check on this many many months ago. There are no cool covers available yet. I checked with Roy Rothlisberger of Mag-Hitec. They will be doing one but I don't know how far off it is (couple of months, six months, year). Give him a call, if he see's a lot of interest we may see one soon. Also check with TA Performance, they said they want to do one too. (Opinion-- I think that these are the two finest cover that you can use)
