Post Getting an L painted ?

I was thinking about changing from white to pearl white once I get my L. Does anybody have any idea what type of cost I would be looking at ?

You would be looking at a lightning that would lose all value the minute it gets painted. Not a bad idea but, dont think may people would ever want to buy it off you.I painted my 97 ford xlt from green to the "BLUE SAPPHIRE CC" from 1995.The person who did mine did an incredible job.It cost me $2500 plus 200 for a wet sand after

Thumbs up

Maybe you should do something cool, like ghost flames or something, but leave the main color white.

One thing to always remember when painting a vehicle for whatever reason. As soon as you 'break' the factory paint, you're dealing with a rebuilt wreck. I understand, it hasn't been wrecked, but you are the only one that knows that to be fact.

If you plan to keep the truck for many years and just want to do it to have exactly what you want, then go for it. Pearl white is a gorgeous color, but if you're looking to increase the value of the truck, leave it alone.

My opinion.....
