I too, like Skydive69 am an old fart over 50 (56 actually), am a grandfather with 5 g/kids (and a 6th on the way this month), who loves fast trucks, cars, toys........and good wine and beer. The winter beater is my wifes stock 1988 BMW M3 with snow tires. The fastest I have driven in traffic is 162+ MPH...in Germany. My dream is to get "the TRUCK" on the autobahn and let it cruise. The only problem is the cost of the gas...would have to sell the wife to pay for it.

My favorite saying is "He who dies with the most (best, fastest, etc.) toys, wins!!!

Insurance on a lightning is no different than a regular f150. They rate the same. Actually the insurance on my lightning is cheaper than my 4x4.
