pull carrier bearings?

Has anybody had success in pulling the carrier bearings off their stock eaton to put a new diff in? I want to reuse my carrier bearings.... yeah I know, replace them, blah blah, but not at 9800 miles... I will reuse if I can. Can you get a 3 jaw puller on them? Putting a true trac in, any help appreciated. Thanks!

The 3 jaw puller might get em. I would try using a machine shop. I didn't have a press so they installed my new bearings on my tru trac.

The new bearings were ~70 dollars, so if the machine shop only charges you 25 to swap bearings you saved a few dollars.

good luck.

Buy the new bearing's, put them in your oven and heat them to @ 250-300 degree's, they should fall onto the new unit!

PS, use gloves to pick them up!!
