Post Please Help With Check Engine Light!!!

Early this morning I went to my local muffler shop and got dual one chamber flowmaster mufflers installed on my new Lightning. On the way home my check engine light came on. I didn't notice any drop in power or anything unusual. When I got home I unhooked the battery for a few minutes then hooked the battery back up. Started the truck and the check engine light was off. Can anyone help me with this? Will the check engine light come on just because I changed muffler? Thanks, HANKFAN

I watched the guy put the mufflers on and nothing seemed to have got damaged. Their was no heat any were near the 02 sensors. I did get gas yesterday so I will check the gas cap. How long will I have to drive my L before the check engine light will come on again if someting is wrong? Thanks, HANKFAN

Make sure they did not damage or disconnect the O2 sensors other than that a muffler will not make your check engine light come on

Make sure your gas cap it tight also if you got gas.
