I was thinking of trying out a set of 4:10 gears. I was wondering if those with 4:10's could chime in here. What I would like to know is what are your RPM's @ 65mph? With the stock 3:73's im at 2100rpm.

On another note. you seem to have a 99 L, am I correct? If so you don't have 3.73's!!

 

me? 99's and '00's came with 3.55's.

Actually, I do not have a 99 Lightning, I used to own a 99 F-150 5.4L with a sherrod package. That was totaled. A week and a half ago I bought a 2001 Lightning.

i have a 99, it sees the track maybe twice a year, i want more ,on the street,while i have the gears out i want to put in the true track, then 373, or the 410,if its only another 350 rpm then 410 sounds better. but all of this has to wait on the money flow.
