Been debating next mod to the truck. I only have chip, pulley,CAI, catback exhaust.

I was thinking of a wet shot NX kit with a progressive controller
how much does it add? what kind of shot do I need to look at? will the rods take it?

what about this snow performance thing?

Nitrous will give you more power but at some risk. Water/Meth is safe and it simply cools the intake charge so your computer will be able to add more fuel and timming hence making more power. I have seen the Snow system give up to 80hp on a s/c application however that was on a built motor with an aftermarket s/c. It might not give that much on a stock s/c system consider most of the stock intercooler systems are not nearly as good as their aftermarket counterparts.

As for nitrous I am not 100% on the L's internals so I really don't want to say anything about how much they can handle. If you are already running a pully that adds more boost I don't know how much more the motor can take before something lets loose.

 

you'll require several more supporting modifications before you even think of the snow kit.

who here has a nitrous kit and what are they spraying? maybe i can ask them where the stock rods bend at.
