Up to now LoJack only allowed discounting in Californa to L owners. But as of today LoJack said that it was OK to discount to L owners across the U.S.

Yes! I knew if I waited I would get a better than the $595 my dealer wanted! I will be faxing this Friday when I am back in town. I have to go to Phoenix tonight so my L will spend it's first (and hopefully last!) night out of the garage. Hmmmm, am I jinxing myself by posting this?

Took advantage of this deal last weekend. Jim Shaw arranged the whole thing, went as planned, followed up to make sure the job was done. If you're going to get one...might as well save some $$.

Thanks a lot for a great feed-back.

I was excited when Lo-Jack allowed me (today, 4/12/00) to have Lo-Jack installed across the U.S. at a fantastic price.

I know there isn't any profit in it for the dealership that I have to run the order thru. I am glad that I am able to do it for L owners.

I had my LoJack installed today:

1) The installer showed up on time.
2) He knew what he was doing.
3) He did a great job, taped the splices after soldering.
4) If you didn't know what your were looking for you will never find the device. And even if you are it is small enough to be almost anywhere on the vehicle.
5) The price was right! I spoke with Jim Shaw afterwards and he is bona fide L enthusiast like us!

All in all a very pleasant experience for something that I am hopeful that I will never have to utilize....

I sent this post through again because I am seriously thinking about moving out of the car business. If that happens, the dealership that has offered us L owners a great discount on Lo-Jack will stop.

Therefore, if you have been considering a Lo-Jack for your L, you can e-mail and let me know that you are considering. That way I can keep you in touch when I am going to quit.
