Just thought I would let everyone know that they will be having a special segment on the Roots-type blower. Basic onfo on how and why they work, and at the strip. It airs at 1:30 in Austin , check your local times. Might help some of us that are rather new to superchargers learn a little bit more abut them.

BTW, our Eaton Blowers are made here where
I live in Athens GA. Last weekend while getting some AMOCO gas a guy came up to look at my Lightning. As it turns out he is the line engineer for the m112 blower housing. None of the people at the plant have seen a "live" Bolt and he actually
wanted me to bring the the truck there for them to look at. His main comment was that these blowers should last 100,000 plus miles.

IF you take your L to the blower plant be sure and askem what they've done to fix the leeaky intercooler that is a major problem with at least the 99's.

I use to teach ancient Greek in a theology school. Did you know that "kaka" in ancient Greek means "bad things"?

Is this a hidden message that your L is really BAD. If so, it must be black!

Doesn't "kaka" mean something in Spanish, too?

 

Fordsales, no hidden message just my last name. It is pronounced Chaka, well its supposed to be. Its a Czech or "Bohemian" name. What school did you teach ancient Greek at? Thats very cool. My truck is white by the way.

WhiteSVTLite, I think caka does mean something else in Spanish. I gotta hear "noelvm" tell me that at every HALO meet.

 

I use to teach in SonLight School of Theology in Calif. Along with the Greek language, I also taught Middle Eastern Archaeology (also known as Biblical Archaeology)

Caka in Spanish means "sh*t" BUT it was the ancient Greeks who took the then known alphabet and added vowels to it. From there the alphabet became adapted to the Latin lanuage than eventually to Spanish.

Because the ancient Greek alphabet was first and takes precedence over any Spanish meaning, I therefore dub your L as "BAD"
