Bed extender

My buddy has a 03 supercrew and he doesn't use his bed extender. Does anyone know or anyone have one of these on their L? I have no holes to even mount the pivot bolts that the extender mounts and I really don't want to drill holes in the side of my bed!! I had a little s-10 and the mounts for it mounted to the bolts that the talegate latches to. But anyway anyone know of a way to put one on easy or will I have to just drill holes and mount it that way?

I have one on my lightning right now. I've been using it frequently this year. I bought a flat bottom aluminum boat for fishing. Since I have a cervani spoiler on back I didn't want the boat to hit it. So I use the bed entender and put the boat up on an angle.

Installing it took about 10 minutes. I had to drill 2 holes for the install. It wa a few years ago i installed it. I want to say that the "bolt" for the "hinge" was already there, or already threaded. I don't recall tapping threads in there. The holes I had to drill was for the "locking shaft". I drilled through the bed liner and then the metal.

I can take some pictures if it helps. I won't be near my truck until probably tomorrow night.

Awesome, well I looked behind my liner and there is no holes there for the pivot bolts to go into and there is no holes for the locking pins either. I don't really mind drilling but....if I had something to go buy it would be better. Take some pics if you can. Thanks man
