At WOT when my 99L shifts into second there is a slight hesitation (flat spot)for a second or less. Any thoughts?? I'm stock except for Airaid.

Thats part of the "BLUE OVAL PROTECTION SYSTEM" you are feeling. you will need a chip to defeat it. someone will "tell" you which brand to buy, because that is the brand they bought.

Some would say Well buy some other brand, I didn't buy it have no first hand knowledge of it, but go ahead buy some other brand.

That hesitation is because the computer cuts off the fuel to four of the cylinders during the shift, presumably to reduce stress on the drive train. And yes, any of the good aftermarket chips can nullify this.

Buy one of each! Then everyone can be happy and a little richer! I'm curious, any one have numbers on the Swanson chip? I almost bought it for both my Fords, till he wanted to set the rev limit at 6500 on my Cobra. Ford has it at 7200, "but they don't make power there". He may know how to make a chip for the L, but I lost faith with that 6500 thing.
