well the rear pinion seal is starting to give a little leak and i figured i might as well do rear gears so any opinions on what ratio i should use and should iget one of the diff covers that the vendors offer...plus what size is the stock rear in an 01 L with what stock ratio?

I would stick with the stock 3.73's.

 

i was all about to change from 355's on my 2000 to 373's, but with the price of gas, and the fact i moved furthur from my shop, glad i held off.

 

4.10's baby,only way to go. Gives you kick in da pants like the pulley did,only up's the rpm's like 200@55mph
