Just took a 500 mile round trip. I had just cleaned up my 2000L truck including exhaust tips. Durring the trip it was all interstate and i did not open her up at all. I averaged 75 mph. I wanted to see what the mileage was like. I got 16 mpg. The thing I noticed was the exhaust and the side of the truck was carboned up real bad. This truck definitely runs rich. Will a chip help this type of driving or will i have to get another MAF sensor with a different calibration to lean out the truck duuring cruising?

 

I had the same problem with my 00 L. I purchased the Superchip flip chip and it instantly stopped the tail pipes from becoming black. It must be buring the gas must better know. Also the power of my truck has greatly increased. Get a Superchip you won't be sorry. HANKFAN
