Question For Those Running Dual 2 Chamber Flowmasters?
I am planning to replace my stock muffler with two Flowmaster mufflers. I want my exhasut to have a really aggressive deep loud tone. Should I go with the 2 chamber 40 series? Of those who have already installed the dual 2 chamber mufflers how loud are they? I want to be able to hear my exhaust even at idle. Are the 40 series 2 chambers the best way to go? Thanks, HANKFAN
Thats what I got and I love the rumble. Had them on my '99 and couldn't wait 2 weeks to get them on my '00. Didn't sound right without them.

I have just put on the flowmasters dual in dual out exhausts. The nice rumble is there, especially under power. The idle rumble is louder than the stock exhaust was, but at idle I do not think they are quite as loud as the two flowmaster exhaust system I had on my F-150 Lariat. But under power I cannot tell much difference. Good luck.
I just had 2 50-series Flowmasters put on last Friday. It sounds great, and I can tell a positive noticeable difference in acceleration. Not too loud, not too quiet, just right! Throw that stock muffler in the trash!
Forgot to mention, I have the 2 Flowmaster setup, not the single.

Doug, I had them put on at Joe's Muffler on Addison Road. It was a bit high, but he did a great job and the stock tips are back in the exact same location from what i can tell. Yeah maybe this weekend we could hook-up for a bit and I'll let you hear 'em. Sounds mean. Email me and let me know.
