Tires-mounting/balancing $ ??

I'm ready to purchase (2) tires on line and save a few bucks, but what is a fair price for mounting/balancing ?
Previously I've purchased the F1's @ Goodyear for about $ 240+, but gonna try some Hankook's now.

will vary greatly depending on who does it. $8-15 per wheel is a ballpark. i think the place i go to charges 10/tire. i had walmart do my wife's car last. i saved a ton buying the tires online and having them mount them. but they ain't touching my truck!

tires on line

oh yeah, I buy all my tires on line too
I call Chris @ discount tires and he hooks me up with my nitto 555 (non drag)
Lucky for me, My bro in law has a auto repair shop that mounts and balance tires too........of course its FREE........hee.........hee..........
the price for mounting and balancing varies from $8.00 to $20.00 per wheel here in cali too. We even have to pay to haul your old tires away.......don't forget to get new valve stems too

Call around to some local tire shops. A lot of them won't even touch it if you don't buy the tire from them. I buy my tires on-line also. Much cheaper!!! I use a NTB dealer here to rotate, align, and balance mine. Usually $8 per tire for the rotation and balance. If they align it they will issue a standard 6 month warranty on the alignment, but you can pay a little extra for a year if you'd like and everytime within that year you need a rotation just take it in and it's done at no charge. DiscountTireDirect has some good deals along with Tire-Easy.com.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Thanks Guys !
$ 8-20 / tire sounds fair and I'm glad to try a different tire with a better wear rating.
