Do custom tunes only effect WOT?
Do custom tunes only effect WOT?
I’m just trying to understand this. Then under all other throttle conditions the computer corrects all the time to keep it running correctly? For example I’ve got a 4# pulley and a custom tune on the way, will the truck keep it in the correct AFR under normal driving conditions until I get it to a dyno to test it under WOT?

With that being said, you can drive with a 4# and be fine until you get to the dyno.

The vehicle will maintain closed loop when it's not at high load or WOT, so the adaptive strategy will still be functional under normal driving. Then when you go WOT, what's programmed in the fuel tables and adders will take over. Depending how your tuner tunes, both can be "adjusted", but for the most part, the WOT stuff is the main thing changed by most.
Here is my question. I have a tune on my predator, custom tune, it was in the 13's AFR. I added 15% fuel on my predator in all RPM's and it richened it up to low 11's and high 10's. Can I keep dialing in the fuel with the predator untill I get it at an optimal AFR, or is there more to it then that in which a tuner manipulates. I have been logging with wideband. I have noticed the AFR line is not exactll flat when making these changes
.... thanks in advance Doug
