hello, i am in the middle of purchasing a 1995 f150 lightning. i have always been a mustang guy but now my interests have shifted to trucks so i decided to go with the lightning. my questions are is there such a thing as xlt trim on the 95 lightning's? or power seat? also any complaints on this vehicle or something i should look out for? and any praises on this vehicle or even photo's would be greatly appreciated. the one i am buying is a 1995 lightning BLACK w/51,000 miles mint condition.

This board is a great place for information, but it kinda leans towards the Gen 2 Lightnings. Please don't misinterpret my post to draw you away from this board. I come here every day and lurk around, this is a wonderful group of people and I've met many of them in person.
But you may also want to check out the National Lightning Owners Club's message board where the Gen 1 truck posts WAY outnumber the Gen 2 truck posts.

The Gen 1 Lightnings were equipped with the full XLT trim, but no mouldings, pinstripes or two-toned paint (thank God!). I'm not totally sure about the power seat option, but nearly positive all the Gen 1 trucks came with the power lumbar and a manual slide for forward or backward adjustments.
