What do you guys think about these parts?

Hey all, new to the board here. I wanted to get some opions and or some recomendations for some parts. First off, I have a 00 Lightning with a cold air, 4 lb. pulley, diablo sport tuner, accufab tb, 90 mm Mass Air. I have some money to spend so I thought about these:

AFCO pro series heat exchanger
2-800 cfm fans
S/C coolant tank
6 or 8 lb pulley
Dynatech Stainless 1-5/8 LT headers
a 2-1/2 mid pipe with no-cats
Dynatech true dual stainless cat-back

What do you guys think about these parts. Are the manufactures any good? Also after installing the stuff and the pulley, could I call diablo and get them to e-mail me a new tune for the handheld, or will it need to be dyno tuned. Sorry for all the question, but I appreciate the help.

What is you goal with the truck? A dyno tune is the best/safest means to get the maximum performance from your mods.

Just something to have fum with on the street and might see the track every once and a while. I know a dyno tune is the way to go, but I live 350+ miles from the nearest one which is why I was hoping diablo could set something up

maybe want to add tractions bars to that list. I don't htink the afco is really necessary though... Or just say "F it" and add a KB...

Save your money on the heat exchanger. The stock one is fine. You also want converters on your truck. Without them you will lose power.

What about the headers. Are they are a good brand? The price is 1500 for headers, cat-back, and mid-pipe. is that a decent price

Converter's will cause a loss in power if removed? I've found that when removing my converters and resignators that I don't fall flat on the nose of the truck between 1st and 2nd gear shifts. Maybe I lost power, but it sure didn't feel like it. Now, I've got a 6lb. lower and a tune and have 396.4rwhp and 521.7rwtq. Is that normal?? Or does that indicate a lose in power?

Any feedback would be helpful.

Thanks,

If you're going to be racing at the strip a lot, the HE and fans will do wonders to cool your IAT2 temps, which as we all know is a key to good ET's. It's worth the money.

I would include a MAFia in the budget. I also would not trust a canned tune.

Go with;
LFP for an E-Fan
LFP or Chickenears for the AFCO style heat exchanger
You do not want to exceed a 6lb. lower
Chickenears for the 6lb. lower
Diablo tuner with a tune from James at RWTD
You don’t need a super Chiller tank
If you go headers go long tubes and get them Ceramic coated inside and out for heat savaging again Chickenears or LFP
Get rid of the front two cats and go with two S.S. MagnaFlow high flows in the rear.
