should i do upper or lower pulley?

ive been reading alot of threads about pulleys and i thought maybe it would help me make my decision but it didnt ive noticed alot of people have went with the upper and alot with the lower what should i do? im thinking about getting the 2.77" Upper Pulley Kit from razor's edge for 129$ and from what ive read ill probably need to get the idler pulley so i dont get slippage right?

the only lower kits i can find are all rather pricy, but i would get the same amount of boost from doing either right?

also is a 2lb pulley ok to run with a stock tune? i wont be able to get the chip or programmer for while.

thanks,

chris

Yes a two pound is safe,, the EEC/ECU is set up to learn or re-teach it's self so to speak. Just drive out of boost for a couple hundred miles, normal traffic and you should be fine.

The only reason to run a smaller upper pulley is when you are out of lower pulley options.

Smaller pulley = more belt slip
More belt slip = less boost, more belt wear and dust
