I am looking at a 2000 or a 2001.5 lightning. Does anybody know where I could get a list of SVT dealers? Also should I try to rush to find a 2000 or wait a little while and get a 2001.

Hi, well i was supposed to pick up my truck on friday, but it looks like i will not be able to get it until tuesday now. I am having some stereo stuff put in at audio trends, and i have him ordering me a snuglid also. Sunshade in troy will be tinting the sides and windshield. And i will probably order the 3/4 drop kit and the billet grill inserts, i just need someone to put my drop kit in. We will have to get together one day.
I used to see a black lightning over by some apartments off of 11 mile across from mc'd's was that yours?

Thats funny, i have known darren for about 6 or 7 years, he has done at least 10 cars for me. I used to live on connecticut between 13 and 12, i just bought a house though and live at 10 and 75 now. We will have to meet up for sure one day.

 

Yep i know most of those guys. I am getting my truck from the ford dealer on woodward. I picked the silver one i may still get it today or tomorrow.

 

Are you going through Royal Oak Ford, south of 12 Mile on Woodward? I went to them about two weeks ago. Seemed like a bunch of jackasses. I asked them if they would sell me the Black one there for A-Plan. After they made me go on a test drive(I told them I didn't want to but the salesman said he had to ???) they told me they won't do A-Plan, but they'll take off $1000, and throw in free window etching. Gee Wiz! I told them I knew of two dealers that would give me A-Plan, and I walked out. Plus they wouldn't give me crap for the 98 Ranger I was going to use as a trade in. Elder Ford(formally Troy) by Oakland Mall had a couple Lightning's in their front, I think I'll try them next week.

Keith they told me they would not do a-plan either tell them that elder and dean sellers both would, they both have L's in and do a-plan btw. Dean sellers in troy has a red and a black, Elders has 2 blacks. RO ford ended up giving me 3k more for my cherokee on trade in so i went with them. I had them to where they would take A plan, but i got the silver one out the door with tax for $28,800 which is a awsome deal. IF you want the black one go see Steve Miller and tell him you want A-plan on the black one, or go see andrea at dean sellers and tell her you want a-plan or ask for Tim at Elders, all these people agreed to do a-plan for me.

Ashenor, Thanks for the info about Sellers & Elder Ford. I just don't know which color to get. I've been set on red for the longest time, but now I'm thinking about black. I've had alot of black cars in the past and they're so hard to maintain, but they do look the best when clean. On one hand black is so mysterious, but red is so eye catching! Oh well, I'll figure something out.

P.S. You mentioned trade in. Sellers and Elder wouldn't give you a good deal? Thats my pickle. I have a 98 Ranger Splash I want to use as a trade in and Royal Oak wouldn't give me squat! Kelly Blue Book said it's worth $10,600 as a trade in, but R/O Ford only offered $7,000! In the Trading Times similar models are going for $11,000 to $12,000.

Well no truck today.....

I was going to do the truck A plan to begin with, then said if they gave me a good deal i would take it none A plan today thats when we worked out the 28,800 with tax... Well now that is the "A plan price" even though its 1200 over the A plan price they gave me the first time. So basically its all messed up. I will see if i can get things worked out next week, but no new L to take up north this week =(.
