On The Superchip, Is The Performance program #1 or #2?
I just installed my Superchip today and was wondering if the performance program is in the #1 toggle position or the #2 toggle position? Thanks, HANKFAN
Hank,
leave it in postion 1 and stand on the loud pedal. take notes,
switch ot position 2, stand on loud pedal, take notes.
It'll be easy to tell I'm sure.....

HI HANKFAN,
Position 2 is the performance program.
One thing to remember is that when you flip the switch, the effects of teh program change do not happen in real time, as hte previous program is still in volatile memroy. It will take 50-100 miles of driving for the new program to overwrite volatile memory. So if you want to do back-to-back testing, for example, you have to disconnect your battery each time you flip the switch, otherwise it will take some miles of driving to get all of the new program to execute, this is quite normal.
Please feel free to give us a call if you like for further details.
Have a great holiday weekend,
