Ford Cobra Day
The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles is hosting "Cobra Day" at the museum on the 3rd of June.
This is a gathering of REAL Cobras,Shelbys and Cobra Replicas, one that you dont want to miss. Carroll Shelby will be there and signing autographs. A giant group photo of all of the Cobras will take place.
From last years agenda, the day incorporates viewing the Cobras, Shelbys etc, touring the museum and lunch.
For Cobra watching without lunch, 7 bucks for admission,5 for seniors and students. Parking is 4.50 per car if you dont have a Cobra or Shelby or if you dont register.
If you want lunch, museum members are 14 bucks and non members are 20 bucks. These prices include the aforementioned 7 dollar admission price.
Apparently, the Cobras and Shelbys are situated together in a parking structure. So some will be in shade, some not.
I think this would be a great reason for "L", AKA "BOLT" owners to get together.Great Kodak moments also. Have Carroll Shelby sign a part on your truck!
Event is held at the Petersen Museum, 6060 Wilshire Blvd. at Fairfax. June 3, 2000 10-4 pm. Lunch reservations by 30 May. Contact number is 818-790-0427 if you want to register a Cobra, (Lynn Park)
Fax or credit card payments can be sent to 323-930-6642
Event Sponsored by Cobras Owners of America and Checkered Flag 200
Let me know if anyone wants to attend and get together. I have heard that this will be fun and a chance to "show" off our trucks to fellow Hot Rod Ford lovers .
