I heard of laying low, but with all the leaks in the lightning community , one would have thought that word would have been leaked out about the 1200 HP monster that you are building. I mean your not under the RADAR Your running Stealth.. Come on Vinnie fill us in!!!!

I'm right here.

1200 is a little optimistic , but I do hope for a big #.

I will not say 2 weeks because it will not be done in 2 weeks.

I am hoping for FFW Richmond in June to be ready.

A 4 valve -Aluminum block, 3.3 whipple with nitrous is not your average set-up and a lot of custom things had to be done.

Time will tell.

Thank god for the awesome wife of yours mister Vinnie. But like I read in earlier posts, instead of the big ol plasma's, you have your truck... which in my book... is better! That's gonna be one killer setup... hope to see it soon. Take it easy.

I would not have it any other way.

It will retain all electronics (Radio, amps, subs, cruise control) and also the A/C.

One of the things is it must pass N.J. inspection. It has insurance as a regular vehicle.

Actually I am going with a smaller tank ,but we are putting a release valve in it so I can go racing with the C16, come home, put it on my lift, drain out the C16, put in 93 , change the tune and drive and vise versa for the track

Will I be driving it to Florida again, probaly not, but I will be able to drive to cruise nights, car shows, the track if I want, etc...

Will all these things cost me a few tenths..probaly. Oh well.. If I can not go out to my garage after I crappy day at work and not drive my truck then what good is it.

BTW- Things like this drive Jim crazy , much easier to delete all electronics, deweight and have an all out race truck, But NOOOOO ..I have be able to drive it all the time. That is why it is taking a little longer and why I feel Jim is an expert at getting me a semi daily driven ANIMAL.

Something very special about being able to have a true multi-purpose truck that runs like an animal! I can't wait to see it done.

Thumbs up

Vinnie, I think you and I give Jim the biggest headache......I am still right at 5200 lbs. and don't want to give up anything from my Lightning........But he still has a way to make great power and get that bad boy down the track in a hurry.
