Post Exhaust Tip Preserver

Maybe this product can keep the inside of your exhaust tips looking polished when they were new.

Just clean them and apply?

Tell me what you think..

ENGINE PAINT CLEAR
Item-no 10131 Z

The correct color and quality engine paint is the foundation of a well detailed engine compartment. Quick drying, high-gloss finish is heat resistant to 300 degrees F. Colors shown are approximate 12 oz. Net wt.

Hi PD,

I have used this very stuff in the past. It is a good product but it cannot withstand the heat/cool/weather cycles of exterior exposure. Over a period of time it turns yellowish, cracks and peels. Works better under the hood.

The trick to keeping the exhaust tips shinin' is not to shine them on. I use a liquid metal polish called Brasso. I hit 'em once a week. Keeps 'em looking like mirrors.
