World Ford Challange.......Niiiiiice !
Hey Everyone,
Just got back this morning from the WFC in
St.Louis, I had a great time. I had the
opportunity to meet some folks from this
board as well as the NLOC board, including
Jeff from NLOC and Sal from PSP. Cool dudes.
Jason Brown was running his Lightning in the
Pro L class and Saturday night he went 7.89
@ 167.xx MPH ! UNBELIVABLE TRUCK!!!! Sal and
a few others were running real LOW 13's, as
in 13.14/13.17 times. Again, Niiiice !!!
All in all a really good Lightning turn out
this year, hopefully it will be bigger next
year.WFC will be in St.Louis again next year.
On the way home I did have a run in with a
punk in a Ram SS/T but you all know how
close those races are
See Ya Next Year,
Rob

Lightning Bob, Thanks for the pictures. For those that didn't make it,
first round qualifying time slip shows 77 degrees, 63% humidity, 29.33 pressure (pressure brings STL uto about 1600 ft.)
Several 13.1's 13.117 for me. Thanks to Everyone! Jim

Man, I hated coming home... It was a blast! I need to start working on ways to get us together more than once a year.
Thanks guys, especially Sal, for making this one the best Lightning showing yet!

Kudos to the photographer!
that would be me.. hehe
For those who weren't there, it wasn't that gloomy. I guess the digital camera didn't do too well, but at least I did get some good shots of everyone. There are a bunch more pictures to come as soon as they're mailed to us by the Pro Lightning winner. His camera was incredible and I used a bunch of film on Sunday since I was unable to race. It sure was fun being right up on the starting line without having to take pictures from the stands.
Thanks to everyone for making this event the best one yet and we look forward to next year. Maybe we can include a birthday party in there too! Happy B-Day CA!
I could go on forever about how much fun I had. I'm sure the feeling is mutual.
It was a pleasure meeting those who could attend.
Seeya next year, or at a Fun Ford Weekend coming your way!
