What company makes a 1/43 Lightning model. I'd like to get it if possible!
I see on ebay everyone selling 1/18 scale bburago lightnings, but in the picture they post it says 1/23 on the box. What's up with that?
If someone wants a red bburago Lightning I know my local hobby store has one and I already bought mine.

I deeply apologize to all on this thread to whom I have not replied. My AOL connection is absolutely the pits, but I have tried others and wasn't much better. I can lose a message in two hours between here, home, and the office and if I didn't print it out, I lose it.
Briefly put, I own a HobbyTown USA in a suburb of Atlanta, a very large one. We stock hundreds of die cast, not just Fords and plastic as well and have supplied about 50 RC Lightnings in various flavors to members of f150online.
As from 1st May, I pay Steve to advertise here, but I have not sorted out a proper link to my HobbyTown Web Site just yet.
To try not to eat up to much bandwidth here, let me say that I sell the 1/21 Burago for $19.99 plus $5.00 UPS anywhere. We offer completely built and painted Lightnings (Tamiya 1/10 RC) for $350 including shipping and with a modified stock motor, electronic speed control and a Futaba controller all necessary batteries etc. As some have indicated, we can build any number of variations beyond this basic one with different motors, speed controls, batteries shocks and goodness knows what all. Some have gone out at around $575, and they were awesome.
To communicate with me until I get the web site sorted out, e-mail me (I am now printing everything), call me at 770-426-8800 at the shop Tues/Sat 9-5 or at home 6-9 or Sun/Mon at 770-426-8034 and if I am not there you will get the machine.
Again, I am truly sorry about the e-mail problem. I take this situation seriously, and I think 95% of the folks that have contacted me were quite satisfied even if they didn't purchase anything.

Pacecar, The company that makes the Yellow L in 1/43 scale is Anson. It's a great little die cast, ofically Licensed by Ford, comes in it's own case, has a toneau, opening doors etc.One small defect,it has TWO shifters on the floor! One for our, ummmm four-wheel drive, and the other for our ummmm 6-speed!
Oh well,it's still way cool though.
Bill,I'll be emailin ya' w/ my order for a Black Bburago,I just can't wait to find on e here any longer.

I collect Die cast, mostly 1:18, and anson is one of the most inaccurate companies out there. They do a poor job in the scaleing and dimension ratios, it always seems that their cars are too long or not wide enough.
But hey, I plan to buy one of their 1:43 lightning, because well I want it.

FYI, I ordered a red and a yellow 1/43rd scale diecast L (by Anson) from Exoticars. I think each were $9.95 + S/H, and they had stock. Search P/N 80801. I should be getting them sometime this week.
Pacecar18, I thought the Bburago was a 1/18. I looked on the bottom of mine, and it was stamped 1/21.
