couldnt care less who makes them for ford. have you ever built a rear? if you use motorsport gears you dont have to mess with shims... and with me doing this on my back in my driveway id prefer not to have to mess with them

keith, you have a different rear end in your F150-- the 8.8 unless i'm mistaken. the L's got the F250/Lincoln/Navigator 9.75 rear. pretty sure ford racing gears aren't made in the 4.10 variety for a 9.75. least I never did find them when looking a while back. motive, yukon, superior, precision do however make these gearsets.

Don't know if this holds true for all yukon gears but I have installed several sets and SOME of them had the ford part numbers and lettering on the gears that were INSIDE the yukon boxes.Keep in mind that some manufacutres are making their gears softer to absorb the driveline shock of drag racing so they willnot last as long or be as quiet.Stan
