Stereo question
do you reccomend the alpine CD/MD combo or the clarion CD/MD player?
i was leaning toward the clarion because it was about 200 less any help very much appreciated.

Since the radio is a 1.5 din this is a hard one, if you look below you can see a post about the Alpine and my Clarion.
I think the Alpine is only a CD unit (not sure) and my unit is a MD only (we don't need no stinking CD 'jusk kidding'), now Alpine makes this $1300?-$1800 1.5-2 din CD/MD unit, but it even hard for me to accept this price.
What you really need to do is replace the stock speakers first, I used component Boston Accustics up front and normal B.A.s in back. Then you should replace the radio with what every you want then go to a amp and EQ. I've seen some people use a sub, but with what I described I can't even use my rearview mirror anymore, also I can't even stick my elbow out the window while driving. The vibration drives me nuts at times. Kind of good kind of bad.
