Having traction issues on the street

Mods are in sig. Have fairly new F1's on the truck.

What can I do to help it out a bit? Will traction bars make much of a difference on the street?

Traction bars do help a bit but to the list you can also add a set of QA1 adjustable shocks and a pair of Nitto 555R's, this comb has been proven to work well but with no weight in the back and tons of torque your going to have to learn pedal moderation. Good luck, Todd

315/60-15 MT DR's work decent for me

But the normal bolt on truck Nitto DR's do pretty good.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I'm makin' 505 hpto the wheels. I have the Nitto DR's, QA-1's, and rancho style bars. Maybe its cause I have slowly learned how to street launch, but it seems I can dead hook and haul azz from a light! If your debating the Nitto's...let me tell ya. I put some serious miles on my truck (so far ths year, boston to VA to GA to VA to NJ to SC and back to VA, plus normal everyday driving) I have had my nitto's for about a year. They STILL hook like a ****!!! They are about due for replacement...not much tread left, but the rubber is still sticky. They don't get hard like F1's. It really put the enjoyment back in my truck and I would gladly buy nitto's once a year verses F1's every other year. (And yes, your F1's will be rock hard after two years weather they have tread left or not).
Hope this helps.

Welcome to owning an L. TB's don't do much at all, but maybe the long bars help some on the street.
