How much diff. is your open track tune vs your street tune? What kind of changes should be made. Lower shift points, rich a/f. etc?

I run my race tune all the time

Never even loaded the other ones.

 

I've never had the ***** to run the race tunes for 30 minutes FULL BORE.
Maybe it's just me, but the abuse that the trucks get On-Track dictate
mucher closer attention to timing and fuel than what the 12 second club takes.

Fatten the fuel and take out some timing. Lower shift points to 5K rpm

Run it fat and kick the timing back, it's just a safer way to go.

 

didn't somebody start this thread a while back and it went on at some length? i believe it was skelton?? seems like a lot of good input in that thread IIRC.
