Found mine on the front porch this morning.
Opened it up ..looks nice. white fiberglass I believe. No vent holes but Roger said that he has run one for a while with no problem on th HVAC air feed. My Friendly Neighbor the painter has it now..He sprays for Ford and Drives a Lightning..first a 99 now a 00.
He sprayed the rear Lens trim and the smooth mirror backs I installed...Looks real sweet. I noticed that the depressions where the wiper shafts protrude have a small hole drilled to let the accumulatd water drain. Nice touch. Only problem I noticed was on one hole a bit of the surface was twisted off by the bit..will need filling. Otherwise the finish is very gooid. May need a bit of prep but not anything major. Soon as it is in I'll post some pictures of the install.
